You might be thinking that there isn’t really that much difference between selling your property and renting it.  Both involve advertising and then an agreement is reached with a buyer / tenant right?

When selling; you cut your ties with the property; you move on and have no further involvement. The buyer must demonstrate their ability to buy the property and show a certain level of commitment in order to move through the process to completion
